The Sägeband-Manufaktur universal saw band for sawing different materials in a practical pack of 3. The metal saw band offered here has dimensions of 13 x 0.65 mm with a tooth spacing of 14/18 teeth per inch and a length of 1735 mm. M42 HSS bi-metal saw belts are characterized by a high service life. The patented fabrication of the support steel also minimizes the risk of tape breakage. The robust M42-HSS blade also provides excellent heat and wear resistance, and lasts up to 10 times longer than conventional carbon steel saw bands. The metal saw blade is suitable for cutting unalloyed carbon steels, aluminum/non-ferrous steel, construction steels, tool steels, stainless steels and light metal alloys. Advanced tooth geometry of saw bands allows cutting of solid materials and profiles. Please note that this bi-metal saw band can be used to saw solid material with a material cross section up to 10-20mm. When sawing thin-walled pipes and profiles, the wall thickness (S in mm) and outer diameter (D in mm) should be taken into account. For the present belt with the given toothing, the following values are resulted: wall thickness 1-3 mm up to max. 60 mm diameter, wall thickness from 3 to 8 mm up to max. 20mm in diameter. A positive cutting angle improves tooth penetration into band saws with limited feed force. The unique tooth geometry and flute also minimize noise and vibration from the first cut.
